Parcines is a true hiking paradise. Located in the heart of the Texel Group Nature Park, the town is the ideal starting-point for countless hikes (of all levels of difficulty – from "easy" to "challenging").

Go for a pleasant stroll, undertake a hike, or set off to climb a mountain and even conquer a summit – it's all possible here! The Sonnenberg and Nörderberg sides of the mountain feature modern aerial lifts that can whisk you away to an altitude of 1,544 meters above sea-level.

At Sonnenberg, you have a direct connection to the Merano High-Altitude Trail. In 5-6 days, you can circumnavigate the entire nature park. The magnificent Nörderberg boasts numerous alpine huts and meadows.

Another specialty of our village: 13 of the 350 3,000-meter-high summits of South Tyrol are located in the district of Parcines.

With a height of 97 meters, the Parcines Waterfall is among the most spectacular natural wonders of South Tyrol.

Young and old will be fascinated by the vast quantities of water (from 4,000 to 10,000 liters per second) of water plunging down the mountainsides during the annual melt (from about May to July) or following heavy rainfall.
